Why I love my company

What kind of Network Marketing blog would this be if I didn't tell you about the company I am with? I am with a reasonably new company called Votre Belle Maison, although we are still pretty new we have just gone worldwide!

We sell an eclectic mix of things so there is something for everyone, bath products, hand bags, kids toys, skin care, you name it we probably have it! However that's not the reason I love it.

I love it because I know I make a difference. You see VBM was set up by a lovely lady named Sue who, after a period of ill health, decided to help a few people feel better by sending out what she called 'Little Boxes of Love'. She intended to send five boxes but was inundated with nominations for these boxes and to cut the long story short A Little Box of Love was born.

A Little Box of Love is where you can go to the website www.alittleboxoflove.co.uk and nominate anyone you think deserves a little box or would be cheered up by a box or for any reason you like, its completely free to nominate someone but they do respectfully ask that if you nominate more than one person you make a donation towards the cost of postage.

Each box obviously costs money and Sue and her family were paying this all out of pocket and so Votre Belle Maison was born. Sue uses the company profits to fund A Little Box of Love but even more than that she has created a company totally based on love. Each of us Belles are individually important to Sue, she reaches out to us and helps us on our VBM journey. The ethos of love spreads through the entire team, we all help each other and encourage each other and most importantly we spread the word on A Little Box of Love.

If you go to the website for A Little Box and read the guest book you can see the difference these small gestures make to people and I am so proud to be a part of it. Sure the money I make selling products is a big part of why I do what I do, there is no point in pretending its not, but knowing I make a difference to people while I make a difference to my own future is some pretty nice icing on an already wonderful cake!

Why Stalls Are Awesome

I love doing stalls! In fact my first year or so in business they were really the only way I made any money at all if I am honest. Sure I would get the odd order from a friend who had seen something she liked on my Facebook page, but I wasn't paying the bills with the odd order for bath bombs! My 'why'

It's a term you will hear constantly in Network Marketing, people will say 'you need to know your why' and when you are new you probably don't have a clue what they are talking about! In a nutshell your why is just that - it's the reason you joined the business you are in in the first place. It sounds pretty simple, you joined because you wanted more money. There is no real point in pretending this is not the case, we all became Network Marketers because we wanted to bring in more money than we currently do. Your 'why' is deeper than that, and its a bit hard to explain too but I will try. Your 'why' is the reason you chose Network Marketing instead of picking up more hours in your current job - it's often flexibility, but again its deeper still. Network Marketing - The Good

Before we get into the ins and outs of network marketing and why it does and doesn't work for certain people I thought I would do a post showing the good and the bad of network marketing, and I thought we are as well starting with the good. The obvious answer is you can earn money from home in your spare time, but of course we all know that it is not as simple as that. You get out what you put in so if you are looking for a get rich quick scheme trust me when I say that network marketing is not for you! However with a small amount of time and effort you can earn a nice bit of extra cash and who doesn't want that?
